With so many details to worry about, we want to help you have a wedding
day you will remember for a lifetime.
1. Get Involved in the Wedding Planning
Don't let your fiancé take all the stress of the planning and
budgeting. GET INVOLVED! Not only will it make things easier for both
of you, you'll have a ceremony that you can both look back on and cherish
the special day together.
2. Have Your Bachelor Party a Couple Weeks Before the
Ceremony
Bachelor parties are time to celebrate with your
friends and family. We suggest having a party a few weeks before the
ceremony. You'll need plenty of energy to begin your new life.
3. Remember to Have a Final Fitting for Your
Tuxedo at the Tuxedo Den
This will eliminate any surprises the morning of your wedding.
4. Bring a Change of Clothing to Your Reception
If you are having your reception at a hotel and they are providing you
with a bridal suite for the night, do not forget to bring a change of
clothes for the next day.
5. Take Your Ring and License to Wedding
Site Early
Take the marriage license and wedding rings to the rehearsal and see
if the officiant will store them until the wedding day. Two less things
to worry about forgetting the next morning.
6. Do Something Special For Your Bride on Your
Wedding Day
It's a common tradition to buy your bride a gift. You can't go wrong
with jewelry! If your budget is tight, write your bride a love note.
Stumped for words? Tell her about the day you knew you wanted to spend
the rest of your life with her or why she's so easy to love.
7. Tell Your Bride She Looks Stunning!
8. Eat Before the Ceremony
Have someone make you sandwiches or a snack
that you and your new spouse can eat in the car while driving from the
ceremony to the reception site. Unfortunately you may not get to eat
during the reception - you will be busy having your photo taken, dancing
and visiting with guests.
9. Don't Sweat
the Small Stuff
Something will not go as planned, but people will either not notice
or sympathize with you. Enjoy your wedding and laugh off the small stuff.
